The Tokyoiter Cover

I'm a big fan of The Tokyokiter's covers. I have been since my first visit to Japan. My favourite memories from that trip were when I ventured alone, rather than the traditional tourist areas. Now I'm planning my second trip looking at the quieter neighbourhoods to explore.

This cover was inspired by that. Each smaller image is inspired by peaceful places you can visit in and around Tokyo. The places include Todoroki Valley, Gotoku-ji Temple, Nippori Textile Town, Ebisu Yokocho and Kagurazaka. My goal was to capture the beauty of Tokyo in the spring.
